Helsinki OMXH

Income Statement

Nurminen Logistics has experienced a decline in revenue growth over the last quarter, with a 11.0% decrease in net sales compared to the same period in 2025. This downturn can be attributed to the significant decrease in fertiliser volumes on routes to Finland, caused by Russia's decision to increase railway tariffs. Despite this challenge, the company's growth outlook for scheduled services on European routes has strengthened, driven by new block train services and successful customer acquisition. Nurminen Logistics' ability to adapt to changing market conditions and capitalize on emerging opportunities will be crucial in driving revenue growth in the coming quarters. The company's focus on operational efficiency and its commitment to investing in new services and technologies will be essential in mitigating the impact of external factors and positioning the business for long-term success.

The realised revenue for Q2 2026 is 28.2 million Euros, and the predicted revenue for Q2 2027 (e) is 23.2 million Euros. The revenue is expected to decrease by 5 million Euros, which is a 17.9% decrease from the realised value. The revenue is expected to decrease by 7.8 million Euros from 2025 to 2026, which is a 7.1% decrease. From 2026 to 2027, the revenue is expected to decrease by 11.9 million Euros, which is a 11.6% decrease. Nurminen Logistics' EBIT profitability has experienced a decline, primarily due to increased costs and reduced operating efficiency. The company's efforts to adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory requirements have been hindered by the significant decrease in fertiliser volumes on routes to Finland, resulting in a strain on the business's profitability. Furthermore, the company's investments in new scheduled services and operational improvements have not yet yielded the desired returns, contributing to the decline in EBIT profitability. Additionally, the company's management team has acknowledged that the geopolitical risks associated with the business have been reduced, but this has not been sufficient to offset the negative impacts on profitability. Overall, Nurminen Logistics' EBIT profitability is expected to remain under pressure in the short term, requiring the company to focus on cost management and operational improvements to restore its profitability.
