Cashflow

The operative cash flow has been negatively impacted by a significant increase in working capital, driven by a substantial change in inventory levels. This increase in inventory is largely attributed to the Dollarstore segment, which has seen a significant write-down in inventories due to initiatives to improve inventory quality and product assortment. The negative impact on operative cash flow is further exacerbated by the goodwill impairment, which has resulted in a non-cash charge. On the other hand, the investment cash flow has been relatively stable, with a decrease in purchases of tangible and intangible assets, partially offset by proceeds from disposal of assets. However, the financial cash flow has been negatively impacted by a significant increase in interest-bearing debt, driven by the Group's decision to take on more debt to finance its operations.
